About the role

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing customer end to end support throughout the order management process for all products within the medical division. This position will also implement changes necessary to support the business needs for our customers. It will serve as the single point of contact for our internal and external customers. This position will accomplish all functions associated with the receipt, entering and editing of customer’s orders and requests for material returns.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the order management process for internal and external customers by handling all functions associated with the customer purchase order and/or material returns.
  • Support customer escalation issues when appropriate and partner cross-functionally as needed.
  • Provide Support to both Capital and Procedural Sales Reps with their daily inquiries as needed.
  • Process Order Confirmations to customers in timely manner, as well as customer returns if applicable.
  • Provide Order Tracking support based upon Customer request.
  • Provide Parts Quotes, Freight Quotes, and process Credit/Debit Memo Requests.
  • Drive the resolution of product, shipping disputes and escalate Customers issues when appropriate.
  • Partner with the customer care team to maximize revenue by providing superior customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to corporate and departmental objectives and ensure are met timely and accurately.
  • Engage in and complete individual and team training opportunities timely.
  • Accurately route calls appropriately based on customer request.
  • Responsible for the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) order processing, correction of incompletion log report and confirming orders through electronic transmissions as needed.
  • Coordinate the International exporting of goods as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s of Art or Bachelor’s of Science degree is preferred and an Associate’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience is required and in a medical device environment is preferred.
  • Basic ERP System experience, SAP preferred.
  • Sales/or Account management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work cross departmentally successfully.
  • Excellent in organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • MS Office skills, primarily Outlook and Excel   #CB
