Job Overview

the Electrical/Electronic Engineer will contribute to the achievement of the commercial goals of the organization by producing novel, efficient and effective technical solutions that satisfy market requirements. He will be responsible for carrying out verification testing of newly developed technologies, as agreed with the manager, reporting the results achieved.
Work in R&D team to provide support of current products and to develop new products. Collaborate with R&D Manager to component replacement due to obsolescence, and design related cost reduction projects. This position collaborates with the R & D manager in the technical documentation of production support and he will have contacts with suppliers for the realization of design parts.

Main Responsibilities

  • New product design, development and improvement of existing products.
  • Preparing electrical/electronic engineering specifications.
  • Originating engineering QA documentation.
  • Electrical/Electronic circuit design and prototyping.
  • Harness/loom design
  • Understand and produce company standard electrical drawings
  • Prototyping, Panel layout and routing of electrical cables
  • Regular liaison with suppliers
  • Manufacturing support
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy, have the ability to work in a team whilst being able to focus on and work to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of IEC 61010-1 (Electrical safety) & 61326-1 (EMC) requirements.
  • Preparing BOMs, build/assembly manuals and test instructions.
  • Liaison with managers and Design Office staff.
  • Resolution and closure of engineering and product design related DCR’s.
  • Assistance with the planning and co-ordination of the department workload to meet delivery requirements


  • An awareness of industry standard electrical components.
  • Experience in designing parts for medical devices is a plus.
  • Full Professional capability in English
  • The candidate should have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information or reports in area of expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information and test results in written and verbal form required.

Minimum Qualifications

Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineer.

At least 3 years’ practical hands-on experience

At least 2 years’ electrical design experience
