Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for all commercial strategy across the Capital Product portfolio. This position will require strong collaboration with sales leadership, portfolio marketing product managers, commercial finance, key opinion leaders, sales training, marketing communications, legal, compliance, and sales operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement strategic marketing plan for capital equipment product lines

 

  • Develop clinical value for assigned products and launch strategy to commercial sales teams

 

  • Partner with key customer and industry leaders to develop product commercial strategy

 

  • Coordinate cross-functional new product launch requirements, value statement, pricing, competitive intel, clinical requirements and schedules

 

  • Establish and maintain relationships with commercial sales team as key internal customer

 

  • Partner with internal teams to develop strategic programs to drive profitable growth

 

  • Build collaboration with marketing communication and marketing strategy to complete initiatives in marketing strategy

 

  • Participate in quarterly planning process for launching product programs that build customer demand

 

  • Develop collaborative approach to partner with portfolio marketing and engineering on product develop plans and competitive tools to support future product launches

 

  • Influence industry and society guidelines to support the use of commercial products

 

  • Understand SalesForce.com and how to use commercial tools to build product analytics

 

  • Learn to develop sales reports on capital product lines and analytics to support recommendations

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years experience in medical device (or related products and services) industry

 

History of quantifiable achievements in commercial marketing and sales

 

Must be very customer (internal and external) focused and results driven

 

Extremely strong communication skills (oral, active listening, written, developing/giving presentations)

 

Must have demonstrable competence in office software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and mainframe applications

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

 

BS degree in related field (life sciences, marketing).

MBA Preferred

25% travel required
