Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc.  and MEDIVATORS.

HEALTHCARE DISPOSABLES

Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

Job Overview

Reporting to the EVP of Strategy & Corporate Development (who reports to the CEO), this individual will be a core member of the corporate development team and provide support on work associated with various corporate development projects (principally M&A) consistent with Cantel’s overall business plan and direction. The individual will support the Company’s pipeline development, company evaluation and due diligence review processes and transaction execution to ensure that all M&A activities meet the Company’s financial and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

The corporate development group has responsibility for leading and supporting the development and execution of both short- and long-term growth strategies of the Company and its business units. The group will lead the identification, analysis, valuation, transaction structuring, and negotiation of acquisitions and strategic alliances.

  • The Associate, Corporate Development’s primary responsibility is to support the Corporate Development group’s efforts in transaction and deal execution which includes financial modeling and analysis, detailed due diligence, and transaction deal management
  • Actively participate in corporate strategic plan development with the executive leadership team and business units
  • Analyze market segments, market trends, growth, competitive developments, and acquisition targets to provide sound recommendations to executive management
  • Prepare and analyze financial pro formas for new business opportunities
  • Support integration planning, along with other business and functional personnel
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on the status of corporate development activities and pipeline

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in relevant discipline preferred with a strong educational background
  • A master’s or other advanced degree is not a requirement but will be looked upon favorably
  • Approximately [3]+ years of experience in the field of corporate development, investment banking, private equity, investment research, strategy consulting, and/or corporate strategy, preferably in the health care or life science industry
  • Strong track record and ability to perform complex financial modeling
  • Exposure to business valuation and financial modeling (e.g., comparable company, precedent transactions, IRR, ROIC, discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout analyses)
  • M&A/Corporate Development experience and track record of successful acquisition experience required. The role requires the construction and manipulation of various types of financial models ranging from M&A deal structures to detailed product P&Ls.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and strong organization skills and analytical expertise with the ability to perform detailed analysis
  • As the Analyst will interact with, and often play a visible role in coordinating the work of multiple cross-functional project teams, a strong and mature presence is critical. The role will consist of supporting the maintenance of a pipeline of acquisition targets in addition to working on “live” transactions, and, as such the individual will need to be able to balance multiple projects of varying durations (e.g., long and short-term).
