Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and achievement of personal sales targets within a defined territory or focus group of clients through effective day-to-day solicitation and interaction with existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop multi-year agreements or obtain blanket purchase orders/purchasing commitments with large accounts
  • Conduct field visits and outbound calls on a regular basis to interact with clients.
  • Implement tactical sales activities
  • Support team in developing new market opportunities in designated accounts and geographies
  • Prepares and delivers effective sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of sales interactions and transactions


  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Biological Sciences
  • 5 to 7 years of sales experience in scientific environment
  • Significant client communication skills and technical sales abilities
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Requires maintaining physical condition necessary for walking, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Extensive use of computer keyboard
  • Extensive travel (up to 50%)
