Job Overview

The Warehouse & Shipping Clerk is responsible for inventory maintenance, order kitting and daily parcel shipments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse organization by placing raw materials and finished goods in their proper locations.
  • Retrieve and kit product per pick list for freight and parcel orders
  • Ensure the part number, quantity and lot of the pulled product match pick list
  • Deliver parcel orders to shipping and prepare for large orders for freight shipment
  • Perform routine inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Notify production control of inventory inaccuracies or low stocking levels.
  • Over-pack product and process parcel orders for daily shipments
  • Use computer hardware and software to generate UPS or FedEx shipping labels
  • Adhere to documented standard operating procedures
  • Maintain adequate shipping supplies
  • Take care of daily warehouse clean ups and maintain 6S organization
  • Other applicable tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years manufacturing experience
  • 1 – 3 years of warehouse experience a plus
  • Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Organization skills and orientation for detail required
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills
  • Able to lift 45 lbs.
