Job Overview

The Principal Global SIOP Analyst will develop and implement the Global Cantel SIOP process. Responsibilities will include development of Demand and Supply Planning playbooks, manage the training and rollout of SIOP to regional supply chain partners, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize forecast accuracy and strengthen the overall SIOP process. In addition, the analyst will oversee statistical forecast modeling, product/region segmentation, creation and maintenance of demand collaboration tools, leading the team to a consensus demand forecast and summarizing analyses and outcomes for the final monthly Demand Review.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements training, playbooks and tools to rollout standardized demand planning process across the business units and regions.
  • Develops deep understanding of global markets to anticipate shifts in demand patterns and identify new demand opportunities.
  • Leads the statistical forecasting efforts, including appropriate model selection, outlier cleansing, root cause analysis and continuous improvement of the process.
  • Responsible for collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver the total demand plan across the defined rolling time horizon. Identifies opportunities to shape demand.
  • Drives consolidation of regional forecasts, including revenue opportunities, gaps and risks to the Annual Operation Plan, for presentation and discussion in the Global Demand Review.
  • Liaises with the Supply Review team to ensure timely hand-off of total demand to Operations.
  • Monitors actual performance to demand and supply plans, leads resolution of demand-related issues as they arise, and communicates risks and potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Leads the development of Cantel Medical’s global inventory policy and implementation. Drives inventory optimization initiatives globally.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience operating in an Operations and/or S&OP environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • MBA with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or another related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or another related field.
  • Experience using SAP, JDE, Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Project management and execution; demand, supply, ESIOP and inventory planning experience.
  • Statistical forecast modeling experience.
  • High-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel 20-30%
