Job Overview

Responsible for executing the defined sales strategy in the Southeast Region to include Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri. Home office location is Dallas or Houston. Close proximity to Crosstex distributor branches, dental schools, dental service organizations, community health centers and federal accounts is essential. This position is accountable for achieving sales quota for the southwest states region. 3-5 years’ infection control or medical device sales experience in a healthcare setting is desirable. Dental industry experience is a plus.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with key distributors, distributor branches and distributor telesales call centers.
  • Support DSO business plan as directed.
  • Manage university dental schools, hygiene schools, assisting schools and community health centers as directed.
  • Support PSA relationship as directed.
  • Meet and exceed territory sales targets.
  • Actively review and analyze territory sales data with manager.
  • Monitor and report competitive activity within region.
  • Identify and communicate new business and/or product enhancement opportunities.
  • Communicate with Crosstex internal management on territory activities.
  • Complete comprehensive monthly territory activity report for company-wide circulation.


  • BA or BS degree in business or related Healthcare field.
  • This position requires superior organization, presentation and communication skills.
  • This position requires a clear understanding of sales and market data analysis.
  • This position requires a “customer first” commitment which includes fast and immediate response to inquiries which includes nights and weekends when necessary.
  • This position requires up to 50% travel across multiple states.
  • 5+ years of sales experience.  Prior Dental industry experience preferred.
  • Successful history of calling on Dental or medical distributers is ideal.
  • Consistent history of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers, and teamwork with internal support personnel.
  • High level of proficiency in relevant software programs (including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and automated sales forms/tools.
