Job Overview

The Sales Consultant is accountable for achieving sales of Medivators’ products and service to flexible endoscopy facilities (GI, urology, pulmonary) within his/her assigned territory. He/she is responsible for reporting sales and competitive activity, and maintaining accurate account records.

Main Responsibilities


  • Call on all target accounts with a frequency sufficient to ensure account penetration, sales growth and business maintenance within a specified geographic territory. 
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales and business development opportunities within his/her territory.
  • Maintain customer pricing for Medivators’ products within established guidelines.
  • Follow-up on sales inquiries generated from advertising, trade shows, emails, or in-person meetings
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas, while maintaining territory expenses at or below budgeted levels.
  • Communicate customer in-service and product service needs within the territory.
  • Provide Region Sales Director with accurate 30-60-90 day forecasts for equipment and other key products as required.
  • Regularly report to Medivators management on territory activities, business growth and/or quality improvement opportunities, territory concerns and competitive activity.



  • BA or BS degree in business or related health care field.



  • This position requires a demonstrated ability to successfully sell and service accounts in the medical device industry. 
  • Capital equipment sales experience, preferably in the medical device arena, is valued but not required.
  • Functional PC and appropriate software skills required. 
  • The position requires an ability to travel.
