Job Overview

Reporting to the VP of Talent Management, this individual focuses on establishing and subsequently leading the implementation and execution of Talent Management and Learning initiatives across the Cantel Medical global enterprise. The incumbent is the process owner for the Talent Management Process and maintains and fosters a high level of confidentiality. The position requires a high level of collaboration with the business, HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs). An ideal candidate will have a broad and complete understanding of Talent Management functions, including the tools and processes associated with performance management, development planning, learning, leadership development, career pathing, coaching, and succession planning. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a proven consultative approach, extensive program management experience, organization skills, and business/data analytic acumen. The incumbent will help drive Cantel’s Talent Management and Learning processes tools, and systems to our global divisions and functions. This is a key role that will enable Cantel to effectively integrate our workforce, grow capabilities, and engage and retain our number one asset: Our people.

Main Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads redesign and modernization of Cantel Talent Management processes, programs, tools and resources.
  • Leads research, design and implementation of new Learning & Leadership Development initiatives, and enhancements to existing learning programs.
  • Oversees the construction of a learning portfolio that
    • Develops Manager Capability; Partners across key Functions to create curated learning curriculum; Leverages learning programs for scale (e.g. external facilitator model); Leverages a “Leader as a Teacher” model; Makes smart learning investments
  • Identifies relevant topics for employee development offerings based on business needs and partners to identify and build blended approaches for delivery of solutions.
  • Manages vendors who help deliver our programs/courses, ensuring continued high quality offerings.
  • Establish standard processes and standards that enable functional ownership of Learning initiatives while also providing corporate oversight and frameworks for consistent delivery.
  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with regional/global colleagues and other COEs and HR areas to ensure the design of aligned, scalable and integrated Talent Management and Learning solutions.
  • Creates communications, marketing, stakeholder socialization and progress reporting materials.
  • Presents to HR and business leaders on project progress; ensures stakeholder alignment.
  • Acts as project lead and subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, as assigned.
  • Ensures an integrated approach is considered and applied to all Talent Management and Learning related programs, initiatives, processes, services and tools.
  • Establishes key metrics and measures for processes, programs, projects/initiatives and provides analytics and reports to support progress toward goals & actions.
  • Ensure our Talent Management System provides a user-friendly, engaging, and development-centric experience for employees.
  • Supports successful implementation of Talent Management processes and systems by training HR Business Partners/key stakeholders and creates instructional tools and resources for implementation success.
