Job Overview

For our Cantel Europe marketing team we are looking for a Marketing Assistant Europe. Cantel is a leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing medical devices, sterilants, and water purification products. You will be part of a true leading global firm, with the opportunity to contribute to its continued success in the European region. In this role cross-functional and cultural cooperation is therefore of great importance. As part of the European marketing team you will support both the global, European and local organizations providing support on the creating of marketing materials, organizing conferences as well as other marketing and sales related tasks.


Main Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and delivery of marketing plans and initiatives with (desktop) research, market intelligence and identification of opportunities;
  • Ensure marketing & sales related data and knowledge, such as CRM and track record information, is stored, updated, and shared in the right way
  • Updates competitor database by inputting data from field sales; compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations; distributing reports. Create, maintain and coordinate marketing & product literature in the relevant languages
  • Support in updating, creating and distributing relevant communications materials such as brochures, newsletters, infographics, factsheets, press releases, etc.
  • Update the EMEA landing page(s)
  • Take partial or full responsibility for organising events and congresses including, the conceptualisation, invitation design, logistics and follow-up activities
  • Support sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses.
  • Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and internet packages.
  • Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory
  • Support analytical needs as requested
  • Support the sales teams and Sales Director on day-to-day commercial operations

Qualifications

  • You have between one and 4 year(s) of working experience in a competitive commercial environment. Experience in medical (devices) is a plus;
  • You have a degree in Business/Marketing/Communications Management, preferrably a bachelors degree or higher;
  • You have excellent verbal and written skills in both German and English, preferably also an additional language;
  • You are driven to deliver the highest quality standards to our (internal) clients;
  • You have excellent organisation skills;
  • You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture;
  • You are a self starter who enjoys working in a team;
  • You are service-minded, flexible and have a can-do attitude;
  • You have the perseverance and resilience to perform well under pressure
  • You have experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally also CRM systems
