    Job Overview

    Partner and coach business leaders on a daily basis to drive the culture of the business. The HR Manager will partner as a consultant to management on human resources related topics. They will drive and support talent acquisition initiatives, organizational design and change management in a rapidly expanding manufacturing business full of challenges and opportunities. The Human Resources Manager is both a strategic & hands-on role.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Experience operating in a matrixed manufacturing environment with a rapidly growing business and the ability to provide leadership by leading by example, inspiring and influencing others, leading and managing change, and acting as a strategic partner with business leaders to meet aggressive growth goals.
    • Deploy HR strategy in partnership with local business leaders to drive achievement of business objectives.
    • Ability to work and communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development.
    • Drive business growth through collaboration with key HR partners including the COE and business leaders to ensure the best talent are attracted, recruited, developed and
    • Serve as the HR Lead and functional expert for the business including, but not limited to employee relations, benefits, compensation, legal & compliance.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to management.
    • Support and lead key projects and deliverables as determined by HR and Business Leaders.
    • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
    • Partner with key HR leaders to support and define the cultural, engagement and change initiatives and implementation plans.
    • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
    • Success in driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
    • Play a consultative role in employee communication in change initiatives
    • A strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
    • Accountable for organizational development and change management initiatives driven by business requirements to adjust continuously the organization on short and long term
    • Assure employee relations including progressive discipline up to termination
    • Partnering with local recruiters and education/ universities / business school to activate appropriate and efficient recruiting pipelines
    • Provide reports and analysis on HR topics
    • Strong internal and external customer service focus
    • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
    • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization

     

    Qualifications

    • BA or BS Degree is Human Resources Management or related field
    • 6-9 years of human resources business partnering experience within a manufacturing environment supporting multiple facilities.
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, and performance management
    • Commitment to company values and operating principles
    • Strong conflict management skills
    • Excellence verbal and written communication skills
    • Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address business issues
    • Work in a fast-paced environment/manage multiple conflicting priorities
    • Self-starter with high intellect, good communication skills to prioritize competing, multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
    • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
    • Strong ability to utilize Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, excel, word to prepare analyses and presentations
    • Prior experience in at least two of the following areas; performance and reward systems, compensation administration, organization design, HRIS systems, worker’s compensation or benefits, talent acquisition, leadership development, workforce planning or employee training is preferred.
