    ENDOSCOPY

    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.

     

    WATER PURIFICATION AND FILTRATION

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.

     

    HEALTHCARE DISPOSABLES

    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    Located in our New Jersey headquarters, this position will be a part of the Total Rewards team (Center of Excellence), providing Compensation and Reporting support for Cantel globally. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring our compensation programs are equitable and competitive within our relevant markets. The Senior Compensation and Reporting Specialist will assist in many aspects of our total rewards programs including design and analysis of base pay programs, short term incentives, long term incentives, and sales incentives. She/He will provide compensation consulting to the HR Business Partners, design and deliver training on Cantel’s compensation programs and conduct strategic analysis of workforce metrics and trends.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Provide advice and counsel to HRBPs and Cantel managers on promotion planning, job classifications and leveling and employee compensation decisions.
    • Manages all aspects of the year end compensation planning process including timelines, preparing communications, and conducting global market analysis in preparation for the merit, promotion and salary adjustment processes.
    • Works with Director, HRIS to ensure all systems are configured appropriately to support the year end compensation programs.
    • Utilizes established processes to define and evaluate jobs, assign FLSA classification (US only) and market prices to determine most appropriate grade assignment.
    • Conducts annual analysis of the Cantel Career Levels and salary ranges to determine if adjustments need to be made and to identify trends and issues.
    • Evaluates external labor market conditions, prepares internal growth projections, and analyzes data to drive sound talent compensation decisions.
    • Provide coordination support to the Sales Compensation Planning process annually, assisting with standardization across segments and entities where appropriate.
    • Complete annual salary surveys and other workforce-related surveys
    • Assist in the ongoing development of Cantel’s Compensation Plan, including best-practice research, communications, implementation, and maintenance.
    • Participate in compensation-based due diligence activities for potential acquisitions.
    • Works with the Director, HRIS to build and maintain a suite of total rewards reports focused on key workforce metrics and trend analysis.
    • Provide continuous improvement recommendations for all Compensation and Reporting plans, policies, and processes.
    • Participate in data integrity initiatives across all HR systems (Human Resources Information System, Cantel Talent Management System, Applicant Tracking System).
    • Additional responsibilities as requested.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Accounting, Financial Planning or related field and 4-6 years of experience in a Human Resources, Compensation, or similar analytics related role.
    • Prior experience with Compensation and/or Reporting strongly preferred.
    • Strong consulting skills required for managing multiple client needs and changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
    • Strong ability to work independently and responsible for high quality, error free work product.
    • Coursework towards CCP, PHR, or other specialized training in HR is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    SPECIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

    • Experience with and/or education of Human Resources and Compensation practices.
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, and Power Point, database analytics, and financial analysis.
    • Ability to learn software platforms quickly.
    • Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex excel spreadsheets with highest attention to detail
    • Able to use packaged HR software to establish sustainable ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
    • Maintain pulse on changes in all relevant markets as tied to HR practices and processes.
    • Establish collaborative working relationships with staff across Cantel.
    • Uphold highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations in our related markets.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    This role is located in an office setting. Extended periods of sitting and staring at a computer screen will be required. Domestic travel will be required less than 10% of the time.
