    Job Overview

    Responsible for managing larger construction style projects at customer facilities across North America. This includes marshalling the appropriate internal resources to include Customer Service, Materials, Sales, Field Service Engineers, and Clinical Education Specialists. Will also work on a variety of projects using AutoCAD and Revit 3D to layout/coordinate plans and details for Equipment installation projects as well as assist National Implementation Manager in continuously improving CAD drawings for Product documentation.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Two-year technical college / trade school graduate in trade related studies
    • Preferred 1 to 2 years of experience preparing structural drawings
    • Revit 3D and AutoCAD Proficiency
    • A working knowledge of the construction methods, plan reading and the preparation of construction documents
    • Ability to remain current with appropriate drafting software, technologies and practices
    • Ability to visualize and imagine project in three dimensions
    • Team leadership or Technician mentoring experience
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout implementation
    • Strong math and geometry skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Manages the customer implementation process
    • Develops and maintains effective, proactive relationships and communications with customer and Medivators departments/associates to contribute to a successful overall customer experience.
    • Conducts project initiation activities.
    • Establishes and manages activities towards project milestones independently or in conjunction with National Implementation Manager.
    • Communicates continuously with customers and Medivators National Implementation Manager regarding project status as necessary to ensure all assigned tasks are completed according to schedule.
    • Maintains milestones and project status in Medivators Project Management Applications.
    • Overcomes client and internal obstacles to ensure timely project completion, and coordinates with other departments as necessary to obtain objectives.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout implementation
    • Coordinate with the customer to set realistic expectations and ensure facility requirements have been met.
    • Manage multiple comprehensive implementation projects simultaneously.
    • Complete weekly time and expense reports on a timely basis. Provide weekly activity schedules to management
    • MS Word and Excel proficiency
    • Able to work as a part of a team
    • Ability to travel 15%-20%

    Qualifications

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

    • Prior work related experience in Construction/Service organization
    • Demonstrated organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Project management education or experience a plus
