Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc.  and MEDIVATORS.


Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

Job Overview

The Planning Manager ensures a customer focused perspective of providing goods and services while developing and leading efficient, effective and high quality processes related to materials management including material receipt, material storage, production/inventory planning and control, and complete value stream materials management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct high quality systems, processes, and human resources in the areas o production planning/scheduling and inventory management, that are focused on meeting customer requirements in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Lead and facilitate site level monthly sales and operations planning process establishing 12 month production material and capacity requirements. Identify and communicate operating gaps and options to close identified gaps.
  • Establish and maintain forecast, scheduling, inventory, and production control strategies
  • Work effectively with all functional teams inside and outside our organization to establish and maintain schedules and inventory levels to meet customer delivery needs
  • Work effectively with all functional teams to develop and implement ECO’s according to our Quality System and documented policies and procedures
  • Assure accurate records of inventory movement and transactions are in place and effective to ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate all new products, develop and introduce time tables to ensure inventory and manufacturing capability and capacity needs are met in order to produce desired introduction date and with desired quality
  • Manage an annual department budget that supports the needs of the business while effectively managing spend
  • Develop, train, and coach the employees in a professional and ethical manner
  • Provide leadership for the management of inventories and maintain total inventory dollar investments within established guidelines while improving the state of inventory investment while not affecting customer needs or negatively impacting costs, work to remove barriers to costs to manufacture
  • Provide leadership in the standardization of materials, supplies, equipment, and services. Lead efforts to establish systems for part classifications and Conflict Minerals data.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and follow-up with appropriate activities to mitigate future issues in areas shown to be at risk during the audit.
  • Lead team to training and effective utilization of Strategy deployment, KPIs ,Lean and CI techniques
  • Responsible for implementing strategies and actions developed through the use of teams and/or personal initiatives to assure timely, cost effective decisions
  • Responsible to develop documented repeatable processes for consistent business outcomes that are consistent with the business operations system
  • Responsible to work with others to develop improved ERP system capabilities
  • Ensure that the department policies and procedures meet company and government regulations.


  • BS in Business Management or related and a preferred six to eight years related experience in purchasing, manufacturing, and production/inventory control.
  • Certification as CPIM or CIRM is desired.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing operations, ERP/MRP systems, engineering and finance and the systems to support and integrate these functions.
  • Requires an understanding and experience in Operational Excellence through Continuous Improvement using lean thinking and tools.
  • Requires ability to execute and work within Strategy Deployment leadership thinking and activities.
  • Requires a demonstrated ability to achieve best total cost of ownership driven inventory strategies
  • Strong ability to utilize a data warehouse to prepare internal reports along with ability to use Microsoft Excel to report data functionally from data downloaded from ERP system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization both inside and outside the company.
  • Must be able to summarize issues and present facts and when appropriate make recommendations to management as well as implement solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up with tasks and issues along with demonstrated problem solving skills are essential..
