    HEALTHCARE DISPOSABLES

    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    Use knowledge of microbiology and microbiological techniques to design and implement experiments that will support new product development and enhancement of commercialized products.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Prepares solutions and bacterial media. Maintains bacterial cultures.
    • Applies knowledge of microbiological techniques to evaluate the efficacy of germicides and infection control systems.
    • Can perform basic chemical analyses.
    • Can maintain good experimental records. Conducts all studies so that quality data is generated. Follows GLPS as necessary.
    • May train and supervise less experienced personnel.
    • Can convert general instructions into detailed experimental protocols.
    • Capable of executing complex protocols independently and writing technical reports.
    • Contributes ideas during technical discussions.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Biology or relevant life science discipline with a minimum of three years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
    MS in Biology or relevant life science discipline preferred.
