    Job Overview

    Working Field Service Manager for a branch office and a Region that supports Medical, Life Science and Industrial customers. This person will be responsible for the safe and proper operation of water treatment systems at critical customer locations including hospitals, dialysis clinics, research centers and other industrial facilities. Duties include: managing staff in local and remote offices that are performing service work, and the documentation and review of system parameters.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of Service Technicians and Engineers to ensure all customer needs are met on a timely basis and emergencies are responded to quickly.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively lead and influence a team of Field Technicians.
    • Continue professional development of the Service staff through additional training, as well as maintaining a strong safety-orientated culture within the business.
    • Serve as Project Manager for all projects being completed in your region.
    • Daily dispatching of Technicians on daily service routes, and reviewing service concerns with customers, Sales Engineers and Branch Managers.
    • Reguarly meet with customers to address service issues or to assist the sales department with new service opportunities to generate additional business
    • Provide technical assistance to maximize equipment systems and application benefits to customer
    • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory for the branch and region including accuracy of physical counts.
    • Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy, including setting employee goals and objectives, developing staff to maximize potential, and monitor staff performance including performance reviews.
    • Maintain an awareness of current chemistry, applications, and regulatory affairs. Stay current with developments pertaining to the Medical and High Purity Water treatment business.


    • Minimum of 5-10 years of successful management or supervisory experience required.
    • Advanced understanding of water chemistry and water treatment equipment and ability to train others.
    • Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
    • Understanding and troubleshooting of basic hydraulics
    • Start-up and train customers on water systems for Dialysis and Commercial/Industrial applications.
    • Direct knowledge, understanding, and adherence, to AAMI principles and practices involved in the production and distribution of water for dialysis
    • Expert in problem solving
    • Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy, including setting employee goals and objectives, developing staff to maximize potential, and monitor staff performance including performance reviews.
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
    • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Keyboard efficiency required of at least 40 words per minute.
    • Depending on reginal expanse, ability to travel 25%



    • An ideal candidate possesses a BS/BA in related discipline
    • At minimum, high school diploma with 6 years industry-related experience
