    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc.  and MEDIVATORS.

    HEALTHCARE DISPOSABLES

    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    Evaluates and compiles data on returned goods and production failures for all of Medivators electro mechanical products. Conducts appropriate investigation to ensure field and production issues are addressed promptly. Monitor returned goods data and generate regular reports to identify any trends.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Investigate/analyze returned Medivators product and gather supporting information to determine failure mode and document results of the investigation.

     

    • Work with Quality Assurance Engineering and Technical Service Specialists to investigate/analyze in-process/final product failures and/or failure data in order to correlate to field failure modes.

     

    • Handle requests from Technical Service, R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality Assurance to identify root cause and corrective action to address field and production quality issues.

     

    • Generate reports for returned goods based on return reasons, part number, root cause and/or solution so that any trends can be identified and appropriate corrective action taken if necessary.

     

    • Identify and recommend any cost saving solutions or improvements that can be implemented based on the evaluation of products that were rejected in production or field returned.

     

    • Perform validation testing for software and electro-mechanical systems under development as needed.

     

    • Provide requested technical help for Quality Assurance Engineering activities/projects.

    Qualifications

    • Technical degree (or equivalent training). Prefer that the work experience is in the medical device industry in a Quality Assurance position with technical ability.

     

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting systems to the component level in the areas of fluid power, electro-mechanical devices and electronic.

     

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in detailed component analysis.

     

    • Practical experience/familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices.

     

    • Must be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

     

    • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills as well as team building skills, basic PC skills, and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

     

    • Ability to process data and formulate plan of action to support data analysis

     

    • Must be able to properly use most inspection tools and equipment.

     

    • Must be able to read and understand component/product specifications.

     

    • Able to read technical drawing
