    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    Provide assessment, analysis and improvement of electronic components and systems to Operations for a variety of existing electronic medical products intended to maximize product yields, minimize product costs and ensure business continuity as well as provide electrical/electronic support within New Product Development efforts.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Provide electrical/electronic engineering support for existing electronic medical products.
    • Represent Operations Engineering within New Product Development efforts of electronic medical products
    • Understand testing and performance requirements of OEM modules to test performance of and troubleshoot issues in new OEM module integration. Be able to interact with and provide technical feedback to third party solutions providers.
    • Generate or assist with design documentation, such as requirements specifications, schematics, PCB artwork, verification test procedures, and test reports under Cantel Medical design control practices.
    • Identify and evaluate alternate electronic components in response of component obsolescence opportunities.
    • Design, conduct failure analyses and develop improvement plans for systems with analog sensing, wireless communications, circuit miniaturization and noise-filtering techniques.
    • Plan and conduct or direct product verification/validation testing to evaluate new components and designs
    • Work with limited supervision on issue triage, root cause identification and troubleshooting tasks
    • Develop new or revised board designs for existing electromechanical equipment
    • Draft test protocols, final reports and change documentation
    • Identify or evaluate new vendors as needed
    • Support the manufacturing floor as needed to troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical component and systems issues.
    • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory and Marketing to assess opportunities and develop user requirements



    • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering


    • Minimum 5 years’ experience



    • Background in medical devices
    • Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry components and design, printed circuit board (PCB) layout.
    • Experience with Altium. Understanding of OrCAD.


    • Experience working with microprocessors and embedded software
    • Experience with programming languages, such as C+
