    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.



    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    This position is responsible to ensure that an uninterrupted on time flow of product is available to meet Customer demand/forecast as agreed upon with Global Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service via the Sales Operation & Planning (S&OP) model. Scheduling, on-time delivery, optimum inventory levels and understanding of cost are essential to achieve this purpose.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure the uninterrupted scheduling of products by obtaining and ensuring the delivery schedules meet or exceed customer expectations while optimizing inventory levels.
    • To be the central focus and gatekeeper who recommends and in most cases determines the model mix and production schedule rate of build for assigned areas of responsibility.
    • Maintain Daily/Weekly Production schedules, Monthly Forecast and MTO (Material Transfer orders) in line with customer and the companies’ requirements.
    • Arrange and coordinate conferences with Global Supply Chain, Customer Service, Engineering, R&D, Operations, Finance and Management to continuously inform them of product availability.
    • Perform detailed scheduling of Production and make optimum use of capacity.
    • Dispose of rejected, inactive, and obsolete materials in a timely manner.
    • Provide management of inventories and maintain total inventory dollar investments within established guidelines.
    • Provide input and coordinate the standardization of materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
    • Responsible for implementing strategies and actions developed through the use of teams and/or personal initiatives to assure timely, cost effective decisions.
    • Coordinate with the Procurement, R & D, Operations and various departments in support of introduction of new products.
    • Provide input and feedback to Management regarding schedule performance and adherence.
    • Manage ECO implementations, design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
    • Coordinate production control activities with Warehouse associates as required supporting business requirements
    • Use of business software system to ensure appropriate and accurate MRP/ERP messages are in place and align key parameters such as safety stock levels, order points and lead time factors.
    • Participate in providing policies and procedures to support production and inventory planning functions.
    • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and the ability to demonstrate everyday incremental improvements within job scope.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field required
    • 3-5 years relative experience in Materials and Distribution required
    • Should have at least 4 years of Supply Planning responsibilities; preferably in manufacturing environment.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) program utilization skills.
    • APICS (CPIM/CIRM) or other Planning related certifications strongly preferred.
    • Hands-on experience in an ERP/MRP II environment.
    • Medical Device or ISO/FDA regulated industry experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization both inside and outside the company. Must be able to summarize issues and present facts and when appropriate, make recommendations to management.
    • The ability to understand internal pricing structures (labor, material, overhead, and profit).
    • Demonstrated ability to follow up with tasks and issues along with demonstrated problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to drive and sustain improvements to Supply Chain processes. Understanding of JIT/TQC and experience in successful implementation a plus.
