    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.



    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for directing a small team of molding associates in the areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance, quality and continuous improvement.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Provides Leadership in a facilitator roll to assigned technical and hourly associates to achieve departmental quality, quantity, service, cost and safety goals. Facilitates team meetings as required and participate in associate projects as a team member.
    • Instructs and facilitates training of associates in the performance of their job in a safe and efficient manner, following prescribed procedures as detailed in the job description, specifications, and policies.
    • Recommends and/or initiates personnel activities such as selection, transfer, discharge, disciplinary actions and associates complaints in a fair, consistent and timely fashion so as to comply with company Human Resources policies.
    • Recommends, initiates, or facilitates measures from associates to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, changes in working condition and use of equipment so as to increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce waste.
    • Coordinates weekly production schedules with Materials Control to assure timely issuance of work orders and materials necessary to maximize operating efficiencies and service levels. Analyzes work order variances. Coordinates with Accounting corrective activities to resolve material variances.
    • Troubleshoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output.
    • Lead a small team of people in execution of daily production tasks, work scheduling, training, maintenance and in continuous improvement.
    • Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for customer issues or to initiate continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repair and maintenance.
    • Ensure cleanliness and maintains safe work environment within molding department.
      • Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions.
    • Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices 6S.
    • Responsible of schedule attainment, and OEE daily Tracking.
    • Provide support on work order closing.
    • Responsible of good documentation practices adherence and compliance audits.
    • Participate in LEAN and Continuous Improvement


    High school diploma or equivalent required. 

    Bachelor’s degree in Plastics or Engineering or equivalent experience required (minimum of 8 years’ experience of ‘hands-on’ injection molding and similar experience dealing in plastic polymers).

    Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience. 

    Previous Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO 13485 certified company. 

    Medical Device Manufacturing strongly preferred.  Medical molding experience.

    The position will require competencies that include molding, maintenance, tooling, quality inspection and supervision. 

    Must be proficient in MS Office.

    Must be able to lift 60 lbs; heavier lifting is necessary on occasion and the employee is required to ask for assistance above 50 lbs.
