    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.



    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Traffic Manager is a key position within Global Supply Chain, with the responsibility to assure compliance to federal, state and local traffic regulations while maintaining appropriate delivery schedules both internally and externally across all of Cantel. This role has responsibility for the leadership of all related training, staff, schedules, and practices for shuttle and contract carriers working on behalf of Cantel originating from any Cantel Medical site. This role is required to assure practices remain compliant to regulations and assure cost effective and timely deliveries.

    The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure effective practices are implemented and clearly documented. Interacting with Distribution, Finance, Planning, and Operations to identify and meet business requirements. The role also works closely with other Cantel Global partners to ensure end-to-end supply chain execution and consistency in approach.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Maintain expertise in all regulatory requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety, DOT and EPA regulations, OHSA, NAFTA, Tariff, Schedule B, and other import and export regulations and documents, duty drawback, bonded warehousing
    • Cross functionally develop and negotiate freight lanes with carriers assuring a balanced cost and service level is maintained
    • Lead third party logistics order processing staff assuring appropriate paperwork accuracy, prioritization to distribution, posting, and billing
    • Responsible for being and / or establishing point of contact for Customer Service needs and complaints related to shipments
    • Lead internal campus shuttle schedule, associated staff, staff training certifications, driver files, truck records and maintenance schedules
    • Manage associated lease agreements and equipment needs
    • Assure dangerous goods certifications for all teams are current to requirements, arranging regular trainings for new Warehouse Operations staff and / or recertification as needed
    • Own import and export compliance training, requirements, commercial invoice creation, brokering, and associated staffing
    • Work globally to assure both standard and best practices are realized
    • Assist in root cause analysis for problem reconciliation and involve all stakeholders in process.
    • Support merger and acquisition (M&A) integration and post M&A value creation by assisting to evaluate and align traffic practices as appropriate


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 8 years combined dangerous goods compliance and import/export brokerage experience required
    • 4 years related managerial experience required
    • Experience leading staff in a high volume “Just in time” environment
    • Proficient using Microsoft office suite, MRP, and other automation software and programs. SAP S/4 Hana preferred
    • Healthcare, medical device or other manufacturing in a regulated environment experience preferred
    • Results driven, innovative, creative and action-oriented; able to align and energize teams behind common objectives in a non-reporting structure
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making skills and have the ability to solve complex problems and think innovatively in creating results for the company
    • May require 20% travel
