    Medical 

    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.

     

    Life Sciences 

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.

     

    Dental 

    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    This position will be responsible for the delivery and exchange of deionization and carbon tanks at customer sites, and completing minor repairs and services related to service deionization and carbon tanks.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Prompt courteous delivery / installation of SDI cylinders within our normal 48 hour time frame or best effort.
    • Ensure delivery vehicle is properly maintained, is regularly cleaned and is operated in compliance with local vehicle regulations
    • Completion and return all delivery log sheets, and delivery service orders after each work day
    • Customer / training in the proper use of Lifesciences products
    • Promote the quality of Lifesciences products and services to customers
    • Maintaining a minimum stock of replacement parts for SDI tanks and systems in the delivery vehicle to reduce need for repeat calls
    • Minor repairs to SDI systems such as re-taping of fittings, changing of leaking or broken connectors, hoses or quality lights, during cylinder deliveries and exchanges
    • Delivery and/or pick up of equipment or materials when requested by Supervisor
    • Immediately communicating to your Supervisor, and/or Customer Service any problems, such as equipment damages, shortages, or customer complaints of goods and services customers may have received
    • Document all non-conformances of tanks, parts and media “as and when received” and follow our ISO Procedures.
    • Ensure all delivered goods have the correct paperwork attached and that it is completed before handing in each night.
    • Participate in company training programs as required for career development
    • That all exchange tanks have been tested and results recorded. Tanks must meet our published specified parameters for both static pressure and water quality before loading truck for delivery each day.
    • Maintaining Plant work area in a clean and safe manner
    • Follow all Company policies and procedures
    • Any additional duties the Supervisor may request from time to time

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, with industry-relevant experience
    • Ability to read, understand and follow Quality System documentation
    • Basic plumbing skills -  PVC Piping/Fluid Flow & Pressure/Troubleshooting
    • Strong mechanical aptitude.
    • Basic computer skills required including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability and desire to learn about basic water chemistry and water treatment equipment
    • Must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, and require minimal supervision
    • Depending on regional expanse, travel miles driven may be in excess of 40,000 per year
    • Ability to manage and maintain confidential and proprietary information
    • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrates customer oriented behaviours
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted; must be able to stoop, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods of time
    • Must have clean and valid driver’s license
