    Medical 

    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.

     

    Life Sciences 

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.

     

    Dental 

    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Global Product Manager is a key contributor to successful implementation of customer-centric initiatives across the Automated Endoscope Reprocessing (AER) franchise and other product categories as applicable. The position will report to and work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager for the AER franchise and is responsible for supporting customer and business needs within new product development (NPD), sustaining engineering (SE) initiatives for life-cycle management of a global portfolio of capital equipment products, and product launch efforts. This position will lead collaboration with global commercial marketing teams to prioritize strategic sustaining product development efforts for the portfolio and is responsible for helping to enhance the experiences of existing and potential customers by uniquely delivering against their needs, wants and desires. Important skills include an understanding of gathering and communicating customer requirements, excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, and project management experience. This position will play an important role in managing AER lifecycle initiatives and executing global marketing activities.

    Main Responsibilities

    STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

     

    • Ensure connectivity with senior leaders on strategic direction and overall business objectives.
    • Identify strategically-aligned growth opportunities by analyzing trends, assessing competition, and quantifying potential.
    • Develop comprehensive Business Cases, Financial Analyses, and Marketing Plans to enable senior management investment decisions.
    • Re-evaluate ongoing investments and plans to ensure success in a dynamic, global marketplace.
    • Provide global strategic leadership while maximizing awareness and connectivity in assigned area of responsibility.
    • Maintain high level knowledge base about competition, market, and other trends and dynamics in assigned area.

     

    GLOBAL PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

     

    • Provide strategic, commercial oversight to ensure short-term and long-term product roadmaps enable the company to achieve commercial objectives inclusive of new platforms, new line extensions and other product enhancements.
    • Lead individual new product activities including business case development, prioritized/justified customer requirements, marketing inputs/deliverables, and governance milestone presentations (e.g. Project Review Board, etc.).
    • Ensure all Marketing deliverables (forecasts, market specifications, positioning, claims, etc.) for individual new product development projects are completed with insight, quality, and in a timely manner to achieve project and commercial objectives.
    • Analyze overall franchise product portfolio from strategic and financial standpoints to inform global commercial as well as product development and sustaining engineering partners.
    • Establish and maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with customers and cross-functional partners (e.g. Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, Clinical, Commercial Marketing, etc.) for the purpose of understanding market/customer and organizational dynamics and capabilities.
    • Lead product launch activities for AER and other assigned products including customer and sales facing launch materials development, product positioning and messaging, launch meeting support, etc.

     

    MARKETING ACTIVITIES

     

    • Plan, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative market research to identify future customer and product opportunities and needs, to inform tradeoffs, and to ensure commercial success.
    • Demonstrate strong understanding and application of Marketing principles including market analysis, segmentation and targeting, competitive analysis, needs identification, value proposition development, pricing and positioning strategy development, and messaging.
    • Develop market specification and target claims deliverables to ensure new product offerings represent meaningful innovation to customers.
    • Lead and influence broader, global commercial partners to maximize the ability to deliver intended new product value propositions to the customer base.
    • Support commercialization and launch efforts globally as applicable.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management/marketing (ideally 4+ years of experience).
    • Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated success defining products domestically and internationally.
    • History of quantifiable achievements in project/product management: Is well organized, resourceful and planful; effective and efficient at marshalling multiple resources to get things done. 
    • Acts with full accountability, ownership, and a high sense of urgency.  Ability to work independently while developing collaborative relationships with peers and business partners.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.  Able to communicate at all organizational levels.
    • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills; able to work in high performance cross-functional teams, while influencing and developing peers.
    • Conducts business in a very ethical and professional manner; carries a positive attitude and operates with integrity.
    • Knowledge of sterilization and/or reprocessing of products used for infection control in healthcare applications helpful for position.  Knowledge of endoscopy also helpful.
    • Able to travel up to 35% of the time

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

    Employee must be able to setup booth and reprocessing equipment for medical exhibitions and training sessions, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
