    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Warehouse & Logistics Manager position is responsible for supervising, training and coordinating employees in receiving, shipping and warehousing activities for our Long Island facilities. Through a balanced approach of safety, quality, delivery and cost, this role plans and assigns work, implements procedures, enforces company policies and recommends department improvements.

    Main Responsibilities


    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing EH&S policies
    • Investigate warehouse near misses and accidents, report findings and recommend corrective actions
    • Ensures proper physical condition of warehouse and equipment


    • Understand department standard operating procedures, update procedures due to any changes and maintain personnel training records per ISO
    • Ensure receiving process maintains inventory control during receiving inspection
    • Document non-conformances and collaborate with quality on preventative measures


    • Monitors, assigns resources and adjusts plans for warehouse picking and shipping processes to ensure daily shipments are picked and shipped to
      meet customer requested dates
    • Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production and purchasing
      Work with production planning on picking daily orders for customer fulfilment


    • Lead, train, and assure team is scheduling and coordinating shipments
    • Work with Customer Service to assure orders are shipped timely and according to company and/or customer requirements
    • Optimize freight carriers to obtain lowest cost possible
    • Handle International and Domestic shipment and assuring all procedures and documentation abide by shipping & regulatory requirements



    • Support receiving, receiving inspection, storage, material usage, order picking, incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of
      material activities
    • Understand customer specific shipping requirements for parcel, freight, international and hazardous shipments using various carriers
    • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy via cycle count process, investigation of variances and quarterly & annual physical inventories


    • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their responsibilities
    • Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping
      methods to meet established shipping and receiving schedules
    • Give work direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of all work.



    • Manage department key performance indicators, including visual controls, communicate status to management, understand problem root cause
      and execute countermeasures.
    • Develop and implement continuous improvement through lean initiatives and department organization through 5S.
    • Expand professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.



    • Maintains staffing levels by recruiting, hiring, orienting and training
    • Meet regularly with team members individually and collectively to monitor progress toward meeting objectives, coach and counsel if necessary; as well as recognizing successes
    • Track employee performance, write employee appraisals and recommend advancement based on merit
    • Interpret and communicate company policies or management direction to employees
    • Ensure employee adherence to company policies and production procedures. Undertake counseling, disciplinary or termination based on situation
    • Address questions, issues and concerns to cultivate effective employee relations
    • Maintain timekeeping, track absenteeism and keep personnel records
    • Other applicable tasks assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant discipline
    • 5+ years of Operations experience
    • 5+ years of Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving experience
    • 5+ years of managerial experience
    • Bilingual in Spanish
    • Knowledge of HAZMAT a plus
    • Lean and continuous improvement experience a plus
    • Experience with ISO standards, ISO 13485 preferred
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills
    • Ability to solve practical problems through analytical and decision-making skills
    • Ability to prioritize assignments through time management and organization skills
    • High sense of urgency focused on task accomplishment
    • High proficiency in MS Office and computer skills
    • Must be able to lift 50+ LBS
