    Life Sciences 

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    Conduct calibrations as needed in-house and coordinate calibration activities with Medivators’ approved calibration service/provider. Assist with the maintenance of Medivators’ Calibration System to ensure that all inspection, measuring and test equipment (IMTE) is properly calibrated and calibration data is maintained. Provide support as needed for product release and incoming inspection.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure all existing IMTE in the Medivators Calibration System is calibrated and documented on time and IMTE found to be out of calibration is removed from service 
    • Ensure all existing IMTE in the Medivators Calibration System is properly labeled/identified per Medivators’ Calibration Procedure. 
    • Ensure that calibration and preventive maintenance schedules and internal calibration standards are met proactively. 
    • Create and maintain calibration methods, procedures, and documentation according to the Cantel Quality System. 
    • Work with vendors to schedule calibrations, perform in-house calibrations, and maintain a calibration database 
    • Provide consultation on selection of appropriate measurement instruments 
    • Participate in a lean culture and lead continuous improvement in daily tasks and calibration management system.


    • Two year degree or equivalent experience and training in the field of calibration and metrology. 
    • Thorough knowledge of metrology, ASQ Calibration Technician Certification is preferred. 
    • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices. 
    • Must be highly organized and detail orientated. 
    • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills as well as basic PC skills. 
    • Some light lifting required.


    • This position may require that work be performed in warehouse, aeration chamber, and controlled environment areas. Individual must be able to work indoors in high temperatures/humidity, especially during the summer months.  This position may involve exposure to moving machinery, lift trucks, and hazardous substances in the warehouse area. 
    • Individual may be required to walk, stand, reach both above and below shoulder height, and pull or push 50 pounds. Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching may be required.  This position may require frequent repetitive movement of both hands (firm or fine grasping) and good hearing, vision and color distinction.
