    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.


    Life Sciences 

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervising, training and coordinating employees in manufacturing operations. Through a balanced approach of safety, quality, delivery and cost, this role plans and assigns work, implements production procedures, enforces company policies and recommends departmental improvements.

    Main Responsibilities


    • Proactively identifies risks and implements countermeasures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members
    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by understanding and enforcing EH&S policies
    • Report near misses and accidents including recommended corrective actions.
    • Investigate shop near misses and accidents, report findings and recommend corrective actions


    • Understand department standard operating procedures, update procedures due to any changes and maintain personnel training records per ISO standards
    • Assist in training product specific procedures and maintain training records
    • Helps to identify potential non-conforming material problems, recommends preventative measures and implements quality improvements.
    • Ensure compliance to quality systems.
    • Ensure operators are following cGMP’s with respect to manufacture of product.
    • Reinforce “Quality in the Hands of the Operator” for process quality checks and ownership of process.



    • Coordinate with supply chain & supervision/management to ensure job completion in a timely manner to meet internal and external customer requirements.
    • Fulfill work orders by developing plans, assigning resources and monitoring production.
    • Ensure targeted efficiencies are achieved and investigate all deviations with recommendations for gap closure.


    • Ensure accurate inventory counts for raw materials/finished goods, coming to and leaving the department
    • Partner with warehouse for just in time supply of machines/cells with raw materials and efficient workflows of finished goods


    • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their responsibilities
    • Develop production rates, set performance goals and measure productivity & efficiency results
    • Work with the Facilities team to maintain preventative maintenance schedules


    • Manage department key performance indicators, including visual controls, communicate status to management, understand problem root cause and execute countermeasures.
    • Develop and implement continuous improvement through lean initiatives and department organization through 5S.
    • Expand professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
    • Engage & solicit ideas from operators in developing improvements to standard work

    • Maintains staffing levels by recruiting, hiring, orienting and training
    • Track employee performance, write employee appraisals and recommend advancement based on merit

    • Ensure employee adherence to company policies and production procedures. Undertake counseling, disciplinary or termination based on situation
    • Address questions, issues and concerns to cultivate effective employee relations
    • Maintain timekeeping, tracks absenteeism and keeps personnel records
    • Other applicable tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Manager


    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or relevant discipline preferred
    • 5 – 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
    • 1 – 3 years of supervision experience preferred
    • Experience with ISO standards, ISO 13485 preferred
    • Lean and continuous improvement experience a plus
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others
    • Ability to solve practical problems through analytical and decision-making skills
    • Ability to prioritize assignments through time management and organization skills
    • High sense of urgency focused on task accomplishment
    • Schedule flexibility to support multiple shifts during weekdays and weekends.
    • High proficiency in MS Office, MRP/ERP and computer skills
    • Must be able to lift 50+ LBS
