    Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.

    Life Sciences 

    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.


    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.


    Job Overview

    The Industrial Engineer position will join the Cantel Life Sciences US Field Service team. The position will be instrumental in improving the safety, quality, efficiency, and customer experience across the Field Service organization. This position is accountable for identifying and completing projects and key initiatives through the use of continuous improvement methodologies. The position will entail working with business leaders, managers, supervisors, technicians, as well as indirect support staff to improve processes and products within the organization.

    Main Responsibilities

    • In collaboration with functional leaders, improve performance of the organization relative to safety, quality, delivery, flow, cost, and customer satisfaction through the use of Lean concepts and tools.
    • Work with business leadership to understand strategic initiatives within the organization and identify improvement projects to execute the initiatives.
    • Define and recommend project teams and gain approval from management for team member support.
    • Define, develop, and manage project plans, schedules, resource requirements, hazards, and costs.
    • Create an environment where team members feel free to speak and know that their suggestions and concerns will be heard.
    • Establish and monitor an effective continuous improvement project list to ensure we deliver our commitments.
    • Assure that the project goals have been met through testing or analysis.
    • Report and communicate the results from process improvement efforts to key stakeholders and organizational leaders.
    • Create and maintain visual scorecards for managers and supervisors to enable them to run the business effectively.
    • Develop and maintain a system to create, communicate, distribute and continuously improve standard work across the organization.


    • B.S in Engineering or related field
    • Industrial Engineering/Lean background strongly preferred
    • Proven project management and process improvement skills
    • Process improvement implementation experience in a regulated industry preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to create strong working relationships and lead the work of others
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
    • Ability to write Work Instructions and Standard Work
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision
    • Ability to learn new technology and provide training to users
    • Proficient in MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)



    • 10-20% Travel as required
