    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.
    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.


    Job Overview

    The Continuous Improvement Specialist functions as a coach for the manufacturing area
    Supervisors and Team Leads in developing their strengths on the Lean Sigma methodology. The
    role is responsible for training and coaching employees and facilitating change throughout the
    manufacturing area. This position works heavily in implementing and training Team Leads,
    Supervisors to build a foundation for the Lean Sigma environment. This individual will support the
    leading role of Supervisors and Team Leads during problem solving and process improvement
    processes by identifying gaps in performance, gathering data, implementing improvements,
    creating Standard Work, measuring results and ensuring changes are sustained. This position
    reports to the Director of Operational Excellence.

    Main Responsibilities

    Coach Team Leads and Supervisors in Organizing and Facilitating Kaizen-Rapid
    improvement events with strong emphasis on safety and elimination of non-value added
     Proactively support creation and update of
    o Standard Work
    o Time Studies
    o 6S implementations
    o Visual Factory
     Be capable of field-testing ideas in the spirit of implementing best practices and
    continuous improvement.
     Incorporate and teach others to incorporate the Voice of the Customer in all process
    improvement projects. Success will be measured in terms of amount of trained
     Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to influence personnel at the shop floor
    to generate full employee engagement.
     Leads development of Lean Sigma practitioners.
     Works in a team environment with all levels of the organization.


    Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a Technical degree
     2-4 years of manufacturing experience
     2-4 years of Lean Manufacturing process improvement
     Lean Green Belt certifications required, Lean Black Belt Certification preferred
     Demonstrated strong project/program management and execution skills are required
     Must have a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical concepts to help with the
    conceptual design of fixtures, tools and recommend equipment improvements
     Strong focus on helping improve Ergonomics, Safety (Employee Wellness), Quality,
    Delivery and Efficiency
     Ability to train
     Proficient in Microsoft Office XL, Visio, Power Point
     A bias toward action and a style conducive to teamwork is essential.
     Knowledge and application of Medical Device Manufacturing requirements for
    compliance with applicable regulating bodies: FDA, ISO, OSHA, CMDCAS, EEC MDD,
    ASTM, ANSI, et al.
